Grayson Auto Repair

My husband is a mechanic so we don’t go to a shop often. There are times his work scheduling is very demanding so I need somewhere to go. I’ve been to Grayson auto for tires and oil changes and I’ve got to say 1. I love how clean it is inside. I don’t feel disgusted if I have to use the bathroom. It’s taken care of unlike many other places I’ve been in the past. 2. Great customer service. Everyone I talk to is so friendly and makes me feel welcome. 3. So quick!! I know they are busy however I feel I always get my car back in a timely manner. 4. Reasonable pricing! I have seen friends get scammed by some auto shops but I can tell you this place is reasonable and honest!! Will continue to do business with them!!

Grayson Tire is a great shop. Jeff the owner is a really stand up guy. You can count on them being fair and professional. I would trust them to not take advantage of someone unfamiliar with car repairs. I would much rather support a great local shop like them over a chain that does not really care about their customers.

First time customer. I had some serious shaking stearing wheel and wobble.so pulled in Grayson Tire and Auto. Was greeted with polite and respectful folks that quickly diagnosed my two front tires were not safe to drive. Within a couple of days I had my car back. I highly recommend.

I recently brought my car in due to an unusual sound and movement, and I received news that I was completely unprepared for—I needed a new steering shaft. Having no idea what that was or how important it was, I was incredibly anxious, especially regarding how I would afford the repairs. However, John was extremely patient and knowledgeable as he explained his findings, helping me understand the severity of the issue and its impact on my safety. I ultimately left my car so the repairs could begin. Early the next morning, John called me with great news. It turned out I did not need a new steering shaft; instead, there was just a loose bolt. He explained in detail how this could have happened, and I was incredibly relieved. I truly appreciate the honesty and care I received. In the past, I have been to other auto shops that have taken advantage of situations like this, charging for unnecessary repairs just to make a profit. Grayson Tire and Auto has earned a lifetime customer. I will gladly share my experience with others to let everyone know how amazing your shop is. Thank you again for everything.

The team handled a full transmission replacement! The staff was very friendly and provided a fair price. Highly recommend the shop for any vehicle repairs.

UPDATE: this morning Jeff the owner called me to discuss my experience with my AC repair. He researched the issue and stated their Freon machine was out of calibration last September when the original service was performed. He also took full responsibility and refunded my evacuation/recharge cost. He apologized and spoke to all involved to change how they handled my situation. I will give them another chance as they took accountability and made it right. Grayson Tire & Auto - so disappointed in their service and support. I had this shop repair my AC in September 2025 and experienced a strange issue where the AC would not turn on when the car was parked on hot days. I garage park my car so I rarely experienced the issue. With this hot weather recently the issue regularly appeared. I took it in as I had a two year warranty. After having the car for half a day they insisted nothing was wrong. They begrudgingly agreed to test again. After a few hours of the car parked in the hot sun, they saw the problem. They subsequently told me the Freon and PAC oil was way out of specs and I needed an evac and recharge. The problem is they were the only people to touch the AC and last to evac/recharge. When I explained this, they stated it was my fault as I must have had someone else work on it. I told them no one else but them worked on it. They said that is impossible. I pointed out how it could happen and they said even if they did make a mistake the Freon is not covered under warranty. When they originally fixed my AC they had issues and had to install a second compressor. Yet they stated they don’t make mistakes. Customers vote with their wallet and they lost this customer of several years who has spent thousands on various services. Shame on you Grayson Tire & Automotive, do better. I will no longer recommend them on this platform.

I went to GTA to receive a second opinion regarding brake and air conditioning work. The owners and Shay explained in detail the results of their free brake inspection and concluded I had ample brake life remaining. This was contrary to another mechanic’s recommendation. They also discussed potential services based on the age of my car and were significantly more reasonable than the dealer. I had them complete an air conditioning cleaning. Looking at their extra effort to describe what was needed and why based on my driving habits and picking me up after my car was serviced with their shuttle service I highly recommend them. They gained a customer today and I appreciate their honest and sincere customer service.

I had needed a battery replacement via my AAA warranty and they told this place was one of two places near me that I could visit. I called and Anthony let me know that I can just head over. I was in and out in 20 mins. Begged to leave the guy a tip and he only wanted a review. Plenty of parking, clean location and awesome customer service.
